When is my email going to change?

The tentative schedule is as follows (although it is subject to change)...

Beginning Immediately: Your email account has been added to Google's servers. If you log into your email from our web site (if you use web-based email instead of using an email program), any email messages, address book entries, and folders that are stored on our servers have been added to Google's servers. At this point, all email will go to BOTH the old servers and to Google's servers. So you can actually use both systems at this time.

September 9: All email accounts will be deleted from the old servers. In other words, on this date, the change is final and you will only be able to use your email through Google's servers.

IMPORTANT: At some point before September 9th, you might need to make two mandatory changes. First, if your email password is currently less than 8 characters, you will need to change it to something with eight characters or more. You should make this change as soon as possible. Secondly, if you use an email program, you will need to make some changes to your email program settings. This should be done before September 9th.
